Please perform a Complete System Reset

Communications issue may involve a locked Ethernet switch in the display or the head stand. To unlock an Ethernet

switch, perform a complete system restart using the steps below.

Power Down Sequence

  1. Display:

    If the system is not communicating, a System Shutdown is not possible: disconnect AC power from the AC adapter.
  2. Pod:

    To power down the Pod (if present), disconnect AC power from the Pod power supply.
  3. SRU (Head Stand):

    To power down the SRU, switch the SRU Power Supply off
  4. Wait approximately 10 seconds before powering up again

Power Up Sequence:

  1. SRU (Head Stand):
    Reconnect AC power to the SRU Power Supply. Switch the supply on. The lights on the head should come on.
  2. Pod:
    – Reconnect AC power to the Pod Power Supply /if present). The Pod Power LED should glow solid amber.
    – Press the Pod power button until the LED is solid green.
  3. Display:
    Press the power switch (or reconnect AC power to the AC adapter).

If the communication issues continue, please chat with the Bayer representative in order to organize an intervention on site

Recommended Steps

  1. Clean size sensor
  • Located about 1½ inches down inside syringe interface
  • Use warm water only
  • Do not use Alcohol

Note:  Unknown Syringe Attached (—) with a syringe attached is a size sensor issue.

If those steps are not solving the issue. please chat with the Bayer representative in order to organize an intervention on site

Indicates a stuck switch on the Injector Head or the Display.

  • On the injector head, this is usually caused by dried contrast media

Recommended Steps

1.Clean all switches on head with warm water.

  • DO NOT allow water to seep inside the head

2.Check for stuck rubber cover.

3.Exercise all switches by pressing 3-4 times

  • On the Display

4.Look for rubber cover stuck underneath metal on Display

  • Exercise all switches by pressing 3-4 times
  • Include the brightness switches on rear of display

If those steps are not solving the issue. please chat with the Bayer representative in order to organize an intervention on site

This is a Flex Ring Issue

Flex Rings are initially Oval shaped. Over time, they round out with syringe insertion and removal

  • Exercise the Flex Rings by removing and inserting a syringe several times with power off

This may help reseat the Flex Ring Sensor

Note: Unknown Syringe Attached (—) without a syringe attached is a Flex Ring issue.

If the communication issues continue, please chat with the Bayer representative in order to organize an intervention on site

Please make sure you are pressing and releasing the power button once the green led lights when powering the system on and off. It seems you are pressing and holding this button and it is causing this error.
Power off the unit by pressing the softkey with the wrench icon (lower left hand corner) and choose the «injector shutdown’ option.
Please exercise all the buttons on the pod except for the Power button, by pressing each button 4-5 times (Start button, Stop button and Help button)

Press the Power button on the pod – putting the injector back through self-test. Please press power on button for 2 seconds (above 6 seconds error will pop up)

If those steps are not solving the issue. please chat with the Bayer representative in order to organize an intervention on site

For a persistent issue, proceed as follows:

Perform a full system reset:

  1. Turn off display and unplug the CRU (display).

  2. Remove battery from injector stand.
  3. Unplug the power cord from the iCBC box.

  4. Wait 15 seconds.
  5. Reinsert battery (Look for lights on head to illuminate for three to four seconds)
    • If no lights illuminate, then replace battery.
    • If the lights illuminate for approximately 3 to 4 seconds, Servo CPU passed self test – move to next step
  6. Plug in the CRU and turn on display.
    • If a battery icon is displayed on the CRU, system reset has corrected the issue. If no battery icon is present, please call the Bayer Service rep .
  7. Once communications resume, reinsert the power cord into the iCBC box. (ICBC icon will change from blue to yellow)

If communications DO NOT resume, reinsert the power cord into the iCBC box and please chat with the Bayer representative in order to organize an intervention on site

  1. Remove power to the unit.
  2. Unplug the unit.
  3. Exercise flex rings by inserting then removing a syringe five times on side A and side B.
  4. Re-apply power to the unit putting it back through self-test
